Frances Snowden
I have worked as an in-house fundraiser and as a consultant, helping many charities reach their financial goals and develop their fundraising operations.
As a member of the team at Tarnside Consulting I supported a wide range of charities over 8 years. Projects of note included match funding for a £3m lottery-funded project on upland commons for the Foundation for Common Land, the first UK fundraising for Early Years Care in South Africa, and a host of smaller projects for schools, museums and community charities.
Prior to Tarnside I was the Development Manager at Lakeland Arts Trust (now Lake Land Arts). In this role I raised revenue, project and capital funding for arts and cultural projects, including £300,000+ through the National Heritage Memorial Fund to acquire a collection of historic boats (now forming Windermere Jetty).
“Frances is very hard working and dedicated and and has substantially enhanced our organization’s outreach to potential donors and foundations.”
John Crawshaw, Odysseus Unbound Foundation, UK/US/Greece
“Despite the need to work remotely, you in the UK and ourselves on the southern tip of Africa, the communication has been free flowing and responses always immediate. The well formulated proposals you’ve developed ensure that recipients receive highly accessible documents which logically set out the cause and benefits.”
Deirdre Caulwell, Early Care Foundation, South Africa
